Abstract:
The IceCube Neutrino Observatory, located at the South Pole, is the largest neutrino detector in the world. It is designed to detect high-energy neutrinos that originate from outside our solar system. In this talk, I will discuss recent results from the IceCube experiment, including the observation of astrophysical neutrino sources, and discuss the implications on our understanding of extreme astrophysical environments. I will also explore the ongoing efforts to improve the sensitivity and capabilities of the detector with IceCube-Gen2, and the potential for further discoveries that awaits us.
