Two double wall tubes for CM14 are produced by new company, only one qualified for now. The second double-wall tube is disqualified and it will be another attempt to make a coating. If it will be successfully this time (in a week), so the further steps of CM production will take 12-16 weeks. Therefore, the estimation for theCM14 arrival to Uppsala for the test in the end of December (info from Akira and Guillaime). The configuration for the stepper motor is the same in CM14 as in previous CMs.
Such delay in CM14 is already critical for FREIA and affects to the plan. In this case it will be overlap with next project in Uppsala, where implementation and changes of cryoline are required, FREIA team can not guarantee to keep the ESS CM testing stand too long. The period that FREIA may to keep the equipment for ESS CM tests is ca. 6-18 months (depends on future lab activity).
It was small discussion what the equipment should be return to ESS and IJCLab from FREIA after finishing CMS testing. Paolo asks to move 2 pumping carts to ESS, as they are currently more useful there, and they are not needed in FREIA before CM14. Further communication about this will take Carl S.
