Description
Abstract: The decay of the eta meson to three pions is directly related to the light quark mass difference (m_u - m_d). A good understanding of this decay would give a constraint on the light quark masses. However, at the moment there are considerable discrepancies between data and theoretical calculations. More data, with high statistics and detailed kinematic dependence, can give insight into these discrepancies and even be used as input for new theoretical calculations. In this talk I will present analysis of the Dalitz plot from the world largest data set of eta->pi+pi-pi0 decays collected at the KLOE detector. I will also give a short status of the upgraded KLOE detector, KLOE-2, and the ongoing experimental run at DAFNE e+e-collider.
