Abstract:
Recent progress in geometric engineering has greatly advanced the study of spectra in QFTs with eight supercharges. Central to this framework is the BPS quiver, which encodes the charge lattice of the theory and connects physical data to the derived category of coherent sheaves Dc(X) of a local Calabi–Yau threefold X. However, determining BPS quivers remains challenging, especially for M-theory compactifications on non-toric Calabi–Yau threefolds. In this talk, I will present a method to construct BPS quivers for new infinite families of 5d SCFTs of arbitrary rank, arising from abelian orbifolds of non-toric compound du Val threefolds.
