Description

In this talk, I will discuss recent progress in the computation of half-BPS scalar four-point functions in the D1D5 CFT, which are holographically dual to graviton and tensor scattering in an AdS3xS3 background. In particular, I will present a new formula for all four-point graviton correlators and demonstrate that it admits a remarkably simple representation in so-called generalized Mellin space.
A key insight is that the correlator naturally decomposes into distinct subsectors, each characterized by different on-shell constraints among the generalized Mellin variables. This formulation reveals several intriguing features, including enhanced crossing symmetry in certain subsectors and higher-dimensional conformal symmetry.
Moreover, the subsectors that exhibit simultaneous poles in s, t, and u display a striking universality: they are identical to each other and precisely match the supergravity amplitude in AdS5xS5.
This talk is based on a recent work (arXiv: 2504.19770) in collaboration with Francesco Aprile, Connor Behan, and Rodrigo Pitombo.
