Description

In December last year, the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) finally was launched into space, and is now in place at Lagrange point 2, with observations due to start in mid-2022. I will outline the novel scientific capabilities of the JWST, observational plans, and how these can offer new avenues of investigation and insights for high-energy physics and cosmology.
