Abstract:

I will present the topic of meteors and space objects, some of the science questions we are working on and their motivations.  This topic deals with all objects roughly between $10^{-22}$ kg and $10^{16}$ kg that are in the near-Earth space environment (dust, meteoroids, space debris, artificial satellites, asteroids, comets) as well as their effect on Earths atmosphere (mostly in the form of meteors).  We aim to create a holistic view, all the way from instrument raw data (mostly radar observations), trough analysis pipelines and modelling, to simulations (e.g. N-body) and I will also present some examples of this from my work.
