How to get to the Universitetshuset
The Universitetshuset is centrally located and it is walking distance from all the hotels in the center of Uppsala.
How to get to the Ångström Lab for the outreach event on Wednedsay
Walk (takes about 30-40 minutes).
Bus from Universitetshuset: walk to the bus stop Kyrkogårdsgatan, take Bus 1 (direction Gränbystaden via Ängsnyckelgatan) or Bus 12 (direction Arrheniusplan) and get down to the stop Regementsvägen, the Ångström Lab is a short walk from there.
Bus from Central Station: take bus 4 from Central Station platform B4 in direction Gottsunda torg. Get down at the stop Polacksbacken.
Bus tickets can be purchased on board, from vending machines, or from the UL app.
How to get to Uppsala from Stockholm Airport (ARN)
Train: Located in Sky City between Terminal 4 and Terminal 5 at Arlanda Airport you can find Arlanda Central Station where you can get to fast trains to Uppsala (20 minutes). Tickets can be purchased at the station. Trains run often (every 20-30 minutes between 4:45 and midnight).
Bus 801: gets to Uppsala Central Station in about 40 minutes (it runs also at night).
Taxi (e.g. Uppsala Taxi) beware uber does not work so well in Uppsala: book a taxi in advance if you need.

In the center you can find many options (click here for a dedicated webpage). For a quick lunch we recommend one of the many cafés located in the center.
