Travel
Visby is easily reached via airplane to to the local airport (VBY). Alternatively, you can travel by ferry from Nynäshamn or Oskarshamn, with departures operated by Destination Gotland. The ferry trip takes about 3 hours and arrives directly in Visby harbor. We recommend booking travel early, as services to Gotland can fill up quickly during the season.
Accommodation: Conference hotel block booking
We have secured a block booking of hotel rooms for conference participants at the conference venue, Strand Hotel. Please use this link to make your reservation; rooms are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis until 5 February. After this date, remaining rooms can still be booked—subject to availability—through the Strand Hotel’s regular booking system.

As Visby is a popular destination, especially outside the winter months, we encourage participants to reserve accommodation well in advance.
