Workshop on Applications of Lagrangian Multipliers

This is a workshop for the participants in the course "Statistical methods in physics and engineering". The purpose of the workshop is to learn about the wide range of applications of optimisation with constraints, using Lagrangian multipliers. Attendance in one of the sessions (morning or afternoon) is mandatory but all course participants are welcome to participate the whole day. Coffee and pastry will be served during the breaks.
