Abstract:
The electromagnetic form factors are the simplest structure function of proton and neutron and serve as one of the main testing grounds for our understanding of the nucleon structure
in no perturbation regime of QCD. They can be accessed through scattering and annihilation. 60 years after the first measurement by Hofstadter they still remain a very interesting topic of research since refined experimental techniques reveal more puzzles.
The observable sand their experimental access will be discussed.
