Swedish-Ukranian workshop on science and technology of superconductivity

Scope:

Superconducting (SC) and low-temperature quantum systems are transforming our understanding of matter, energy, and information. SC technologies are part of the transition to a green society through energy saving in high-power applications as, for example, SC accelerators and high-Tc SC power lines. The Swedish-Ukrainian symposium provides a platform for discussing novel and emergent phenomena in the applied superconductivity,  in particular for applications in future accelerators. 

The aims of the workshop are: 

• to gather scientists who often work separately — those in the high-level theory of superconductivity, those developing present and emerging applications, and those deploying SC systems in industry and big-science projects. 
• to bring our Ukrainian colleagues into a stimulating scientific environment for allowing sustained discussion and exchange that the situation at home makes difficult to sustain;
• to organize a platform to potential collaborations with Ukrainian colleagues in the theory of superconductivity.
