Wik's slott was erected in the 15th century and is listed as historically/culturally protected.
Please note that there is no elevator in the castle.
Meeting rooms and meals
- Riddarsalen ("The Knight's Hall") - main room for plenary sessions and populous working packages sessions. Located on the 3rd floor in the castle.
- Anna's room - small meeting room for WP3+WP4 parallel session on Tuesday October 6. Located on the 2nd floor in the castle.
- Jungfrun (*The Maiden") - small meeting room for WP parallel sessions. Located on the 2nd floor in the castle.
- Riddaren, small room without AV equipment, available on Tuesday October 6.
Coffee breaks will take place in: TBA
Breakfast is served in Borgsalen
Lunches will be served in the "Restaurant"
Dinners will be served in the "Restaurant"
Recreation
In connection to the castle there is a park with walking paths:
- "Genvägen", 1.2 km. Follow the blue markings. This path takes you to art work Achairisachairisachair.
- "Wikstigen", 3.2 km. Follow the red markings. You may encounter grazing animals.

Following the main road road about 1.6 km to the northeast you can reach a rune stone.
There is a sauna available for guests. Please bring a swim suit if you want to use it, perhaps followed by a dip in the lake. There is a small beach and a platform from where you can jump into the water. Expect 15° C or below.
