Latest travel regulations for entering Sweden:
As detailed on this website any citizen or resident of the European Economic Area (EEA) can freely enter Sweden (subject to the EU covid certificate, i.e. negative test or vaccination proof). Residents of Nordic Countries can enter without documentation.
For travellers from outside the EEA, we regret that an entry ban got into effect with several exemptions given on the website (see the header “Exemptions from the travel ban”) and which is currently into place until the 31st of October.
For travellers who can present a Covid certificate from the UK, however, a recent amendment to this ban should allow entry into Sweden from 11 October onwards. The UK is thereby exempted from the travel ban currently in place for countries outside EEA. More information on this update can be found here or here.
As of September 29th, many of the leftover Covid-19 restrictions within Sweden have been lifted. For the latest guidelines and regulations please see this link.
